PA-758 is better when
Pick PA-758 when you need see-through ABS with good impact; it is not as optically perfect as PMMA/PC but far tougher. For opaque gloss use PA-757.
PA-757 is better when
PA-757 is your default unless the application needs more impact (PA-747/PA-709), flame retardancy (PA-765A), heat resistance (PA-777D) or transparency (PA-758). It is the benchmark every other grade is compared against.
Which should I choose, PA-758 or PA-757?
PA-758 vs PA-757: transparency vs glossy opaque. vs PC: PA-758 is cheaper and easier to mold but less heat/scratch resistant. PA-757 vs PA-707: nearly identical rigidity; PA-757 is the more widely stocked export grade with marginally better flow. PA-757 vs PA-757K: PA-757K is the mainland-plant equivalent for local supply.
