PA-777D is better when
Choose PA-777D only when PA-777B/C cannot hold shape; it is the most heat-capable ABS but the most expensive and least impacty of the family. For flame retardancy with heat, compare PA-765A.
PA-757 is better when
PA-757 is your default unless the application needs more impact (PA-747/PA-709), flame retardancy (PA-765A), heat resistance (PA-777D) or transparency (PA-758). It is the benchmark every other grade is compared against.
Which should I choose, PA-777D or PA-757?
PA-777D vs PA-777B: maximum HDT vs cost/impact. vs PA-765A: PA-777D is heat-focused, PA-765A is FR-focused. PA-757 vs PA-707: nearly identical rigidity; PA-757 is the more widely stocked export grade with marginally better flow. PA-757 vs PA-757K: PA-757K is the mainland-plant equivalent for local supply.
